Piper Trust Seeks 2017-2019 Resident Scholar

November 9, 2016

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust is seeking candidates for its next Resident Scholar (2017-2019). As a way to engage young professionals in the social profit and philanthropic sectors, and learn from them as they work with us, Piper Trust established the Resident Scholars Program and selected our inaugural Scholar earlier this year.

Through a paid two-year commitment, Resident Scholars examine issues and challenges in our region and contribute to advancing the Trust’s mission of improving well-being for all in Maricopa County. Our intent is to provide a dynamic environment for the Scholars to gain experience that enhances their career paths, broadens their expertise in social services and philanthropy, and ultimately supports them in their pursuits as our future leaders.

Visit pipertrust.org/scholars for program details; applications are due January 20, 2017. Please contact Karen Leland (kleland@pipertrust.org / 480-556-7125) with any questions.

I would greatly appreciate if you would share this opportunity with your networks. Piper Trust’s work and culture are truly enriched by the perspectives and talents of our Scholar.
Warmest regards,

Susan M. Pepin, MD, MPH
