Strategic Learning & Evaluation

Piper Trust believes evaluation should be used as a means to better understand and enhance the work of nonprofits. We want to learn, along with our grantees, about the impacts of new programs or services supported by our grantmaking; this includes things that worked and those that did not. Learning along with our grantees allows us to be better informed grantmakers. Piper Trust Research and Evaluation staff is available as a resource for current grantees to consult in the design, implementation, and analysis of evaluation tools, methods, and data.

Following are two tools designed by Piper Trust Research and Evaluation staff for use in the evaluation of programs for older adult participants.
