Under direct supervision of the CFO/Accounting Officer, the Assistant Controller is responsible for accurately maintaining accounting records, preparation of financial analyses, assisting with budget preparation, and performing other duties as assigned. Through his/her work, the assistant controller shares the purpose of Piper Trust to positively impact communities in Maricopa County.
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Grants Management the Grants Manager is responsible for the Trust’s grant tracking and administration. The Grants Manager assists with developing recommending, and implementing policies and procedures related to the grantmaking process, from initial inquiry to disposition and grant closing.
Strategic Learning Officer
The Strategic Learning Officer provides evaluation and learning support to Trust staff and grantees to understand and enhance the outcomes of grants, projects, programs and initiatives. Reporting to and collaborating closely with the Director of Strategic Learning, the Strategic Learning Officer helps to plan evaluation components for grantmaking, develops measurement and data/information systems, and reports findings in ways that foster organizational learning and decision making. Furthering the impact of the Trust’s strategic initiatives (in alignment with departmental goals) is paramount to this position.
